To subscribe to or search for podcasts, you will need a podcast aggregator. Ipodder works great and is reasonably keyboard accessible, which is a great feature for everybody, but especially if you are blind. Ipodder will allow you to look at a large directory of many existing podcasts, subscribe to those podcasts, set up a regular check of your subscriptions for new content, play the content in your media player of choice and more.
A podcaster client has been developed with complete keyboard accessibility for people who are blind. This client will not, however, visit the large directory of podcasts shown in Ipodder, nor will it allow you to download content. However, if you are interested only in subscribing to and playing podcasts across the internet, Accessible Ipodder is for you.
